Blocket Chat

As a Product Designer at Blocket’s Messaging team, I led a UI redesign and implemented new safety features to enhance the chat functionality. This work showcases my ability to create user-centered experiences with the users security at heart.

Mission

At Blocket, the chat is a key element of every transaction.

I led the redesign of the messaging UI, to create a cohesive experience true to the rest of Blocket and an create an accessible chat. This project involved a complete overhaul across Web and Native Apps.

My Role

I was leading the visual design alongside a UX researcher. I was responsible for the aesthetic direction and UI architecture across all platforms, making sure we followed the Design System.

Working in close collaboration with Product Manager and developers, I translated the user journey into a high-fidelity designs. My role was to ensure that whether a user was on theAndroid app or a Desktop browser, the experience felt undeniably Blocket and was accessible.
